SourcePoint Therapy®:
SourcePoint Therapy® is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy work that supports your innate blueprint of health. It can be experienced on its own or woven into psychotherapy, psychoanalytic work, and psychedelic-assisted therapy preparation and integration to help you feel more grounded, resourced, and connected to yourself.
Developed by Bob Schrei and Donna Thomson, SourcePoint Therapy® works with the body’s blueprint of health—an energetic template of order, balance, harmony, and flow that underlies physical and psychological well-being. From this perspective, the information held in the energetic field shapes and sustains the physical body, nervous system, perception, and psyche. When this flow is disrupted by stress, trauma, or long-standing patterns, the body may organize around tension, dysregulation, and pain. SourcePoint Therapy® helps re-establish contact with the healthy pattern so your system can orient toward coherence rather than old survival strategies.
Sessions are simple and deeply restful. You remain fully clothed, usually lying on a comfortable table, while attention is brought to specific points in and around the body that relate to the blueprint of health. The work may include a gentle scanning of the field to sense and address disruptions in the flow of information. You do not need to do anything or retell your story; the work is quiet, respectful, and allows your system to reorganize at its own pace. Many clients report feeling calmer, lighter, more grounded, and more themselves after sessions.
For people engaging in psychedelic-assisted therapy, SourcePoint Therapy® can offer a steadying energetic framework both before and after medicine experiences. In preparation, it may help regulate the nervous system, soften chronic tension, and support a deeper sense of internal safety and orientation. In integration, it can support the body-mind in digesting and reorganizing around the insights and emotions that arise, helping them settle into daily life without re-activating or overwhelming the system.
Within psychotherapy and psychoanalytic work, SourcePoint Therapy® can function as a subtle, supportive context that honors both the complexity of the inner world and the body’s role in holding experience. It can be especially helpful when words are not enough, when therapy feels stuck, or when symptoms seem disproportionate to present-day circumstances. By gently supporting energetic coherence, many people find that insight lands more deeply, self-observation softens, and long-standing patterns begin to shift.
People are often drawn to SourcePoint Therapy® for support with trauma-related tension or anxiety, feeling chronically on alert, fragmentation or disconnection, or a desire for a non-verbal approach that respects the body’s pace and wisdom. While SourcePoint Therapy® is not a medical treatment and does not diagnose or cure disease, many clients experience increased calm, clarity, vitality, and a growing sense of internal stability and wholeness.
In this practice, SourcePoint Therapy® may be offered as a stand-alone series of sessions, woven into ongoing psychotherapy or psychoanalysis when clinically appropriate and consented to, or used as part of preparation and integration for psychedelic-assisted therapy. If you are curious about whether SourcePoint Therapy® might be a good fit for you, you are welcome to reach out with questions or to schedule a consultation.
