HOMEWORK THERAPY


Homework Therapy incorporates a pedagogical and child/school psychology theory into a single approach that helps children succeed in school by addressing emotional and academic needs. Dr. Cohen helps students create possibilities for creativity and options for success. She uses homework as a way to establish a therapeutic alliance and assesses each student's unique strengths and weaknesses. She is an expert in identifying learning styles, motivational strategies and an appreciation for individualized differences to promote self-confidence and increased self-esteem in and outside of the classroom.
